Dimitrie J. Leivici – Founding Director, Chairman

Dimitrie J. Leivici studied at the Vienna Conservatory and the University of Vienna, where he graduated with his Diploma in 1976. Enthusiastic Reviews in Austria, where at the age of 17 he already performed concerti by Paganini and Wieniawsky, were proof of his musicality and capabilities as a musician. After his graduation, he moved to the USA and continued his solo career beginning in Los Angeles.

Subsequent concert tours with violin concerti by Beethoven, Sibelius and Tschaikovsky led him throughout Europe, including solo performances with leading orchestras such as the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic and the Rumanian Philharmonic as well as numerous appearances throughout the continent of North America (San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Washington, D.C.).

Dimitrie J. Leivici held the position for violin instructor and chamber music at the California State University as well as being chairman for strings and Chamber Music for the »California Association of Professional Music Teachers«.

He is one of the most sought after Hollywood studio violinists, having participated on over 1.000 movie scores and sound tracks including projects such as Avatar, Titanic, Pirates of the Caribbean, Toy Story, Indiana Jones, etc.

He has organized Master Classes for world famous artists such as Paul Badura Skoda and Ruggiero Ricci. Dimitrie J. Leivici was also featured as master clinician in workshops and violin master classes including at the University of Vienna in 2008.

Being a teacher and mentor for young talents, Hollywood Music Workshop is one of his big projects that connects him closely to his homeland of Austria.

Lilo Bellotto – Founding Director, Advisor

Lilo Bellotto ´s passion revolves around music and the arts. She completed her studies in Classical Ballet, Classical Piano and has had extensive vocal training. During her stage career, she was featured in leading roles at the “Theater an der Wien” and “Theater des Westens” Berlin, in productions of “Fiddler on the Roof”, “No No Nanette”, “Cats”, “Evita”, “Chorus Line” etc.

She appeared during the festival “Wiener Festwochen” as the female lead in the well known play by Neil Simon “They are playing our Song” along side the actor Klaus Wildbolz, additional engagements include performances at the Theater in der Josefstadt.
Having been involved with music and the arts throughout her life and due to the fact that her father was the renowned artist agent Rudolf Raab, she is very familiar with this genre in general.

Lilo Bellotto currently hosts a radio show broadcast on the classical radio station Radio Stephansdom and has been producing and presenting her own radio broadcast on film music since January 2012.

Lilo Bellotto and Dimitrie J. Leivici are the organizers of Hollywood Music Workshop in Baden, Austria, having successfully established the workshop as a permanent fixture on the European Continent since 2009.

Michiel de Boer – CEO, Executive Manager

Michiel De Boer is a dutch trumpetplayer, conductor and orchestrator graduated from the conservatories of Utrecht and Amsterdam for his bachelor jazz trumpet and master conducting.

His versitality in jazz and classical music, combined with his conducting skills and specialism in film and game music, makes him a sought after conductor for film and game music concerts as well as live to picture concerts.
In 2014 he founded “Magic of the Movies”, a project orchestra and choir, dedicated to film and game music. With this orchestra he performed and premiered several suites from dutch filmcomposers as Matthijs Kieboom, Jeffery van Rossum, Djuri Boot and Jelle Dittmar. He also worked with and recorded in studio’s in Prague, Budapest, the Netherlands and Austria.

Besides his musical career, Michiel developed a talent for management and business skills. This has led him to be involved as a project manager in projects for music education and culture for the Province of South Holland, Municipality of Albrandswaard, Society of music education Flevoland and more.Michiel started in 2019 at HMW as manager and has been appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director since 2024.

Rolf Gustavson – CAO, Advisor

Hi, I’m Rolf Gustavson, an orchestrator, arranger, and composer based in Porvoo, Finland. I hold a master’s degree in composition from the Sibelius Academy. While I’m a versatile musician, I’m probably best known for my work as a film music orchestrator and arranger.

My musical journey began at 11, playing punk rock inspired by Green Day. Over time, this love of music evolved into a passion for composition and orchestration, which eventually led me to study classical music. Though I’ve focused on classical composition in my studies, I’ve found myself working more and more as a film music orchestrator and arranger, translating and formalizing other composers’ music onto the page.

Over the course of my career, I’ve had the honor of collaborating with all the major orchestras in Finland and have also worked with remote orchestras in Budapest, Skopje, and Prague. Many of the projects I’ve been involved in include composers from both Europe and North America.

In addition to this, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with top-notch Finnish artists and musicians like Apulanta, Anna Puu, Jukka Immonen, Ako Kiiski, and Tuure Kilpeläinen, as well as award-winning film and game composers.
Outside of music, I spend a lot of time with my Bedlington Terrier, Mango, who I’m delighted to say is my best friend in the world.

Justus Berger – Technical Manager

Justus Berger is a German composer, arranger, and orchestrator. He began his musical journey at the age of seven, playing the trumpet, and decided after graduating from high school to pursue his passion for music as a profession. He completed his studies in “Composition for Film and Theater” at the ArtEZ University of the Arts in Arnhem, graduating as the first student with the top grade of 10/10.

Since 2020, he has been an integral member of the HMW team and is also the composer of the HMW Fanfare.He quickly received his first commissions after his studies, including for the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn and the Bonn Opera. Notably, his composition „Dash & The Grey Men“ was premiered by the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn in February 2025.

Since the spring of 2024, he has also been part of the orchestration team at Ricochet, where he works on projects for various clients, including Volker Bertelmann (All Quiet on the Western Front, Conclave, Dune – Prophecy).

Felix Fasching – Assistant

Felix Fasching is an Austrian composer and trumpet player born in 2007. He is playing in multiple orchestras bands and jazz ensembles.

He has worked for ORF and written for different ensembles performed in the „Wiener Musikverein“.

As a classical composer he has worked and written for orchestra. Including the premiere of his first symphony in April 2025

Felix is currently studying at MGW (Wiener Musik Gymnasium) and has been working at the HMW since 2024. He has competed in multiple competitions for example earning the first prize at prima la musica for trumpet trio in 2022.

He is working as a handyman and assistant at the HMW in Baden.

Csongor Birinyi – Social Media Manager

has a strong background in business and sales, complemented by a deep passion for film and film music. He studied at a business school, which led to a 25-year career in international sales, holding various positions across different industries.

Driven by his love for cinema, he pursued studies in digital filmmaking at SAE Institute Vienna, gaining hands-on experience in the entertainment industry. After a brief period working in film, he transitioned back into sales, serving as an Area Sales Manager for Eastern Europe in the filtration sector.

In parallel, he furthered his education in business informatics at the Distance-Learning University of Applied Sciences in Wiener Neustadt, earning both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He currently works as a Professional Services Consultant at a leading international IT company specializing in ERP systems.

Csongor’s passion for film scores began over 30 years ago, sparked by the music of the legendary composers John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner et al. As a devoted attendee of Hollywood in Vienna, he has had the opportunity to meet and engage with renowned composers such as James Horner, Howard Shore, Alan Silvestri, James Newton Howard, Danny Elfman, Alan Menken, and many others.

His connection to Hollywood Music Workshop spans several years, during which he gained invaluable musical insights from esteemed mentors Conrad Pope, Nan Schwartz, Christopher Young, and Bruce Broughton. In 2024, he officially joined the Hollywood Music Workshop team as Social Media Manager, bringing his expertise in communication and digital engagement to support the workshop’s mission.

Karin Fröschl – Web, Graphic & Videodesign

Karin Fröschl (formerly Raab), studied classical piano and was a longstanding integral part of the Austrian popular music culture, member of the iconic Austrian cult band “Mo & the Gangsters in Love” („Send Me Roses”) and a sought-after session & live singer for artists like: Opus, Supermax, Hansi Lang, Andy Baum, Karl Ratzer, Halluciantion Company, Christian Kolonovits, Harri Stojka, R. Fendrich, W. Ambros, L. Hirsch, G. Danzer, F. Morak, S. Werger, Bilgeri, & many more.
She also participated in the legendary production of “Jesus Christ Superstar” as one of the three “Soul Girls” at the world famous “Theater an der Wien”, Vienna.

For almost 15 years she has been an important & integral part of the HMW team. Initially as graphic designer and since 2018 as graphic, web & video designer for HMW EUROPE andHMW USA have made her indispensable for the continuing success of that international summer event.
