Hollywood Music Workshop is happy to announce its cooperation with VIENNA SYNCHRON STAGE for the summer workshop program 2025
VIENNA SYNCHRON STAGE 2018, “Romanza” by Nan Schwartz, Soloist: Dimitrie J. Leivici

HMW is also proud to have been involved in the VIENNA SYNCHRON STAGE inauguration 2015 as a recording venue with Synchron Stage’s first permanent concertmaster HMW director and founder DIMITRIE LEIVICI plus HMW dean CONRAD POPE as conductor and consultant for their first recording project SISI with the participation of world renowned Hollywood horn player JAMES THATCHER and iconic film music mixer from Hollywood DENNIS SANDS
Based on that first highly successful cooperation, HMW has repeatedly taken advantage of those fantastic facilities Synchron has provided over the years.

It’s also our pleasure to contribute to VIENNA SYNCHRON STAGE’S
10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION & show our appreciation
with a wonderful and highly unique opportunity of collaboration between our international workshop participants and our highly esteemed faculty duo consisting of two of L.A. top film and media composers –
CONRAD POPE & AUSTIN WINTORY
HMW director and founder Dimitrie Leivici
who had been concertmaster for the first three years of Synchron’s existence, describes his experiences as follows:
“Having grown up in Vienna and studied at the University of Vienna, I had multiple occasions even in my study years, to be privileged having performed in some of Vienna’s best acoustic venues. From the large concert hall in Vienna, where I played my debut as a soloist, to the famous and iconic Vienna Musikverein on numerous occasions as concertmaster and before moving to L.A., my experiences have been always very positive.
Upon my return to Vienna though and experiencing the wonderful acoustic properties of Vienna Synchron Stage I have to admit of being overwhelmed by the absolutely fabulous sound properties this recording facility can provide beyond my expectations!
It literally invites the composers, orchestrators and arrangers to push the boundaries of acoustic possibilities beyond the acceptable norm of set standard of sound qualities.
On top of that a highly qualified recording staff and a pool of the most qualified Austrian orchestra musicians can insure a highly satisfying result even for the most demanding clients!
So don’t miss this opportunity of experiencing recording sound almost unheard of throughout the world and prepare your session with two of the most sought after composer greats, Hollywood has to offer.”
