Emotional Storytelling – A Voiceover Masterclass

With Heiko Obermoeller, July 17 – 19

At the heart of every voiceover, whether it’s a commercial, a dry technical copy, a personal narration, a funny animation or a scary character in a videogame, is great emotional storytelling.

This 3-day-masterclass will provide you with hands-on tools to achieve great emotional authenticity in front of a microphone, create memorable performances that stand out and empower you to find your own personal signature voice.

Script analysis and character development tools will help you take the step from worried performer to a curious detective, and you will learn how to uncover and mirror basic human behaviors, so each and every performance creates an instant emotional connection to the listener.

Copies will be provided to work on.

You can also bring your own copies to class.

Everybody will have the chance to work on 2 copies in front of the microphone and receive personal coaching in a class setting.

Additional topics we’ll cover are basic marketing tools and how to build a homestudio and choose the right equipment to get started in the business.
