Below you will find our courses offered as well as the fee for each individual one.

 

Please register using our Application Form, which will guide you through the process. Click on any of the Application buttons below. Please allow for a few seconds for the application form to load!

At the end of the registration process, you will find instructions on how to pay via bank transfer. If you prefer to pay via PayPal (please use hollywoodmusicworkshop@gmx.com), you will have to add a 4% surcharge to the total amount to cover the PayPal fees.

Please note, that you have to transfer the deposit of 100€ for each course you have registered for in order to secure your place. If you would like to choose to pay the whole course fee at once, you are free to do so to save banking fees for example. Again, all of the courses you have chosen need to be fully paid latest by May 31st.

After receiving an email confirming that you applied, please transfer the course fee(s) to our account.

Upon arrival we will send you an email confirming your participation.

 

Each participant will receive a Certificate of Completion at the end of each respective course.

Examples

Some Payment Process Examples

Here are some examples to explain the various options and due dates.

In all the examples we assume that you want to register for a class with a fee of 390€ and an early sign-up fee of 330€.

Example 1: You want to make use of the early sign-up fee. You register before April 15th and you pay immediately the 100€ deposit. Your seat is now reserved. Now you still owe us 230€. You pay the remaining 230€ by May 31st the latest – and you are done, your seat is secured and fully paid.

Example 2: You register after April 15th but before May 31st. You now have to pay a course fee of 390€ as the early sign-up offer expired (what a shame that you missed it…). You pay immediately the 100€ deposit. Your seat is now reserved. Now you still owe us 290€. You pay the remaining 290€ by May 31st the latest – and you are done, your seat is secured and fully paid.

Example 3: You registered for a course before May 31st (either before April 15th using the early sign-up deal or after April 15th using the regular course fee). You pay immediately the 100€ deposit. Your seat is now reserved. And you still owe us the remaining course fee. But now, for some strange reasons, you fail to pay the remaining course fee by May 31st. Now you have lost your seat and your fee deposit is gone, we won’t return it as we kept the seat open for you – potentially declining other registrations after the course has been completely booked.

The only thing you can do now is to contact us to find out if there is still a seat open. If so you will have to pay the full regular fee at once (390€ in this example) and you are back in the game. But again, your initial deposit is gone, so we really hope this won’t happen to you!

Example 4: You decided last minute, after May 31st, that you want to be part of this very unique film scoring academy. In that case contact us to find out if there is still a seat open. If so you will have to pay the full regular fee at once (390€ in this example) and you are good to go! But we really recommend to be smart about this and register much earlier than that – you clearly don’t want to miss this great opportunity!

What are the Terms and Conditions?

What are the Terms and Conditions?

We ask you to observe the following terms and conditions of participation in the Hollywood Music Workshop – Baden bei Wien. By enrolling in this workshop you agree to accept them as stated:

1. The organizers assume no liability for any loss, theft or damage to instruments and other valuables which are brought to the course or to any other events of the Hollywood Music Workshop – Baden bei Wien.  The participants are responsible for arranging adequate insurance cover for themselves.

2. Participation in the classes and recreational activities of the Hollywood Music Workshop – Baden bei Wien is at your own risk. The organizers shall accept no liability for any accidents or injuries involving the participants.  The participants are responsible for arranging adequate insurance cover for themselves.

3. Underage participants will not be supervised.  The parent or guardian is to enclose an informal declaration of consent for participation and adherence to the course terms and conditions.

4. The house rules at the course location (Casino Baden) are to be observed  (no consumption of food and drink in the classrooms except bottled water).

The course fee must be paid by May 31, 2017 at the latest. In case of non-payment and/or no show, the deposit or full course fee will be lost and your place will be given to someone else.

Cancellation policy

For written cancellations made on or before May 31, 2017, the course fee will be refunded minus the deposit. The registration fee is non-refundable.

For cancellations made after May 31, 2017, the deposit and/or the course fee are nonrefundable. Therefore it is in your own interest, to inform us promptly if you have to change your plans.

Hollywood Music Workshop does not permit any video taping or other recording of lectures during the workshop.

We do not provide housing or meals.

You will need to bring your own laptop, keyboard and headphones to the venue.

We can provide a limited amount of keyboards on an individual basis upon request on a first come first served basis, cost 20€ for the duration of the workshop.

All the courses are taught in English.

What are the requirements?

Prior acting education and / or training. The classes assume that you know the basic techniques of acting including voice performance.

Previous acting experience with either stage, TV or film acting.

Can I book private lessons?

Of course! All of our lectors will give private lessons. The cost is 150€ per hour (paid additionally to the course fee) – but make sure to sign up as soon as possible as the number of spots available is limited.

Are housing and meals included?

We do NOT provide meals or housing. There is a variety of restaurants and lunch places available in close proximity to the workshop.
